Phone Interview- Wells Fargo Follow Up...

I had my Phone Interview with Wells Fargo today at 4:00 PM - the duration of the interview was 15 minutes.
How did i do you ask ? Honestly i think i did better with my interview with Discover card than i did with Wells Fargo. Who knows though ? at the end the interviewer said they will be interviewing all through next week and so by the end of the week next week i should have a answer. So wish me luck!! and keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

PHONE INTERVIEW- WELLS FARGO...

I submitted a Application in the last couple of day's for a Customer Service position at Wells Fargo. I just got a call earlier tonight inviting me to a Phone Interview tomorrow afternoon at 4:00 PM
I am excited and looking forward to it. Wish me luck!!! Prayer's everyone please! that would be great.

Been a Few Days...

Before i added the post i added on my other blog to this blog. That was written yesterday. I had not posted for several day's. I think it was around the time i went to Orientation at Convergys.

Well i started in my training class Monday May 3, 2010 - went through the whole day thinking that everything "was cool!" Tuesday Morning on the 4th of May when i went into Work and Training as i was supposed to. I went to log in for the day and i get this error message that said "Your account has been disabled". Still not thinking of it and my trainer not doing so as well and just thinking it was a tech support issue. I was going along and then by 8 AM or 8:05 AM i have this visit from a member of the HR department. And well she fired me. All she told me is that i didn't pass suitability. Which i later find out has to do with your background check. That is all she told me. It seemed like she was kind of in a hurry to get me out of the bldg. I asked if i could go let my mom know what was going on- she said she would do it and didn't. Now i am hearing other people are experiencing the same thing or similar. I wonder if they know what they are doing? There is nothing unfavorable on my background check. I'm no criminal!!! Good Grief!!

SO SO EXCITED....

This is a Post i added yesterday May 6, 2010


I am so excited. Apparently the classes my dad has been taking including the resume writing and all the good tips and all the hard work i did on my resume looks like and seem's to be getting me some attention and seem's to be working. Who know's. I say this because i applied for a position at Discover Card for a position i believe last night or the day before. And i got a call today about a hour or so ago saying they got my resume and wanted to go over it with me. The nice lady in HR said and complimented me on how thorough and very well my resume was put together. Which makes me happy. Anyhow i got scheduled and invited to a Phone interview tomorrow morning at 10:30 AM-- so we will see how that goes. Keep your finger's crossed for me and me in your prayer's. Also i applied with Comcast and i got a response from them sending me a link that they want me to do some assesments so i can move forward in the application process with them. Wow, so exciting. Maybe things are and will be turning around and working for us. Will keep you all informed. Keep me in your prayer's and thought's.

ORIENTATION- TOMMOROW...

I Have Orientation tomorrow morning at 8 AM till 10 AM (I Understand). I am kind of nervous. I hope everything goes well and that there are no surprises in anyway. You never know what will come from Orientations and training. So i am just hoping all goes well and that there are no hiccups or surprises or anything. Keep your finger's crossed for me and us (my mom and i) and please remember us in your prayers.

Fall Through ????

I get a phone call this morning from Convergys thinking they are just confirming Orientation for me right? Wrong!!! they call and tell me that I need to send them a release and transfer form from VANGENT where i previously applied for this position a couple of months ago. They need this form today by 5 PM or my schedule and my mom's schedule was going to be released and basically we would no longer have a spot in this training class and wouldn't have a job. And so this job may not work out for us and we may not have a job anyway. It's real scary and stressful. I wanted to let you know what's going on with everything and ask that you all keep us in your prayers and thoughts today. And pray i get a hold of Vangent and are able to get this all done by 5 PM today.

Keeping Options Open...

So i have the Census Job. But, of course in life there are no gurantee's. So i am doing all i can to keep my options open.
I Hope i am not "Jinxing!" myself. - That being said..

I have been invited to the opportunity to Interview this is a Phone Interview on Wednesday at 11 AM for a Demonstrator/Special Events position in South Jordan at Sam's Club. With a Company called Advantage Special Event's. Wish me luck!!!

US CENSUS...

I have been hired and given the opportunity to work as a Call Center Representitive for the US Census. Working at Convergys in there phone center. Convergys is one of the Call Center's who has the Census project. I have already passed the background check, had my badge picture taken., and have my paperwork and i got my Orientation date which is April 29th, 2010 (Next Thursday) and with a Training starting date of May 3, 2010.
Training is 4 days from 7:00 AM till 2:30 PM.

After that and depending on the needs of the Client (US CENSUS) and Convergys
My schedule will be from 9:00 AM till 8:00 PM (4 days a week/4 ten hour shift's).
With Sunday's off. That is what my schedule is right now. I will work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday's. This job will go till August.

If you all could keep me in your prayer's from now till next Thursday and all day Thursday and through the 4 days of training - from May 3rd till the 7th.
That nothing will fall through and i will be able to keep this job and recieve no surprises and not LOOSE THIS JOB! that would be great.

Columbus Community Center

I applied for a P/T Direct Care Staff position at Columbus Community Center. I unfortunately was not selected for a position and interview. Here is the response in correspondence i recieved in regards to the application and resume i submitted.

CENSUS

I went to my appointment/interview and background and finger printing for the Census jobs. And my Background came back yesterday. I was offered the job! however after praying and pondering i came to the determination that this particular job was not going to be a good fit for me and right for me. However i do want to express to everyone though that i am truly greatful to Quest Staffing and Vangent for the opportunity to apply and be considered for this job and that i am greatful for this opportunity. I am hopeful and prayerful that the right job is around the corner and employment and other opportunities will come along soon. Prayers will and are appreciated.

CENSUS JOB APPOINTMENT... FINALLY

So my mom and i finally this Wednesday have our Appointment to have our background check and finger printing done and who knows what else for the Census Jobs we are applying for and hoping to get. Wish us luck! keep us in your prayers and thoughts and things. Will keep you posted.

UPDATE ON THINGS...

Today my mom and i went to visit Quest Staffing as they are helping Vangent with the recruiting and hiring process for the 2010 Census jobs. I hear there are about 1,200 positions. Wow, that's alot! anyhow i found this job on jobs.utah.gov
anyhow we went in for our appointment and were there- Start to finish almost 1 hour. But, we got alot of the paperwork filled out and we have another appointment for the 2nd part of the background check and things out in Sandy on February 11, 2010!
Hopefully all goes well. And hopefully we (mom and i) will be 2 lucky applicants and that we will get the job. Keep your fingers crossed for us and keep us in your thoughts and prayers and pray we get this job! it pays about $14.00 a hour! SWEEEET!

CENSUS JOBS...

Monday i am going to apply through Quest Staffing i will be applying for one of the Census call center jobs. I hear they are paying good! which i am pretty sure they are because it's the government and it's the Census.
