Columbus Community Center

I applied for a P/T Direct Care Staff position at Columbus Community Center. I unfortunately was not selected for a position and interview. Here is the response in correspondence i recieved in regards to the application and resume i submitted.

CENSUS

I went to my appointment/interview and background and finger printing for the Census jobs. And my Background came back yesterday. I was offered the job! however after praying and pondering i came to the determination that this particular job was not going to be a good fit for me and right for me. However i do want to express to everyone though that i am truly greatful to Quest Staffing and Vangent for the opportunity to apply and be considered for this job and that i am greatful for this opportunity. I am hopeful and prayerful that the right job is around the corner and employment and other opportunities will come along soon. Prayers will and are appreciated.

CENSUS JOB APPOINTMENT... FINALLY

So my mom and i finally this Wednesday have our Appointment to have our background check and finger printing done and who knows what else for the Census Jobs we are applying for and hoping to get. Wish us luck! keep us in your prayers and thoughts and things. Will keep you posted.

UPDATE ON THINGS...

Today my mom and i went to visit Quest Staffing as they are helping Vangent with the recruiting and hiring process for the 2010 Census jobs. I hear there are about 1,200 positions. Wow, that's alot! anyhow i found this job on jobs.utah.gov
anyhow we went in for our appointment and were there- Start to finish almost 1 hour. But, we got alot of the paperwork filled out and we have another appointment for the 2nd part of the background check and things out in Sandy on February 11, 2010!
Hopefully all goes well. And hopefully we (mom and i) will be 2 lucky applicants and that we will get the job. Keep your fingers crossed for us and keep us in your thoughts and prayers and pray we get this job! it pays about $14.00 a hour! SWEEEET!

CENSUS JOBS...

Monday i am going to apply through Quest Staffing i will be applying for one of the Census call center jobs. I hear they are paying good! which i am pretty sure they are because it's the government and it's the Census. My appointment is at 3:15 PM so wish me luck! keep me and my family in your thoughts and prayers- pray for us. I will let you know! i hope we get the job!

Interview with Winder Dairy

I Just wanted to write and let you know that i went to a interview with Winder Dairy today- i interviewed with a Bob smith! he is very nice. The interview was only maybe about 10 minutes long- he told me about the position more into detail. It is door to door sales and it is straight commission. Anyhow as i was interviewing i found and caught myself and it's a habit but, i found myself more than once saying "UM!" again it's a habit at the same time though i think that maybe affecting the outcomes of these interviews. Any advice, tips or idea's on that? i mean i know it's me that is doing it but anything you can think of that would help me not do that- probably not. any advice or anything you can offer would be great.

Interview

I am so excited... As many of you may know i applied for a position at the new WinCo foods store that will be opening in West Valley City, Utah soon! i got a call back and invited to a Information meeting tomorrow afternoon at the E-Center at 3:30 PM- I Hope it goes well. I am so excited! I will keep you posted on everything. If you could all keep me in your thoughts and prayers tonight and all day tomorrow and tomorrow night i would appreciate it.
